Our History

Grace Church began as a casual Bible study for a few fun-loving employees of AT&T. We eventually decided to start a church in an attempt to share our excitement about the positive changes God was making in our lives. For a number of years, we met in an industrial warehouse, renovating and pushing down walls as we grew. We welcomed and loved everyone who came our way and created opportunities for people to grow and succeed. These humble beginnings have shaped in us a value for laughter, first-rate coffee, and a good bucket of paint.

Along the way, we have launched several new churches, grown to a considerable size, sent ministry teams all over the world, and expanded into a beautiful facility and campus on Grant Street, right across the street from the redeveloped Thornton Town Center.

Behind our laid-back style, contemporary approach, and electric guitars, is a growing number of seriously committed individuals with one bone-deep belief: nothing is more meaningful than a relationship with Christ.

We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son, and that through His death and resurrection we are reconciled to God. We believe Jesus redeems us from past failure, heals us physically and emotionally, gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit, and will someday conclude history by bringing final peace and justice to the world.
